Two Panels Set the Stage

Glyph is inspired by minimalistic art of the 1960s and 1970s, celebrating the use of industrial materials, simple shapes, and bold colors. The fixture consists of two vertical aluminum panels joined at 90 degrees where an intersection of color and texture creates a soft, shadowy diffusion of light—whether oriented vertically or horizontally.

Texture Takes the Lead

With texture influencing how light is diffused, the selection of materials and colour hold equal weight. Though simple in form, refinement across multiple iterations strengthened Glyph's concept for manufacturing ease.

in Quiet Conversation

‍
Offering enough light to gently illuminate, the sconce’s graphic presence makes it more than a light source. The intersecting panels maintain a simple form, while their shadows create one layer and the light introduces another.
