First Impressions

“We went to a furniture fair in Cologne with our friend Stephan of Avenue Road, and he introduced us to Tribù. We not only thought they produced well-made furniture, but they’re a great company with a great line of product that’s constantly reinventing itself. It’s not a singular style – They have a very broad stylistic range, but all of the designs can be easily mixed.”

Kindred Standards

With the shared desire to evolve through challenges, the collaboration began with a mutual admiration for understated restraint. Work set out in developing designs for top tier hospitality environments. Evolution came in realizing the dynamic design intention within the physical possibilities of manufacturing. That push and pull found its balance and set the direction for our partnership.

Works Well With Others

The Tribù collection mixes products across collections to create cohesive, dynamic compositions. Each piece is designed to stand on its own while integrating seamlessly with others, allowing it to adapt to a range of settings beyond traditional architectural spaces.

what  we’ve made

Nodi Collection 2018

The Nodi collection, our first collaboration, is both strong but not dominating. It’s a dynamic collection, light on its feet, with a sense of movement. The curved steel frame and interlaced Canax® webbing creates a gentle grace reminiscent of a suspended bridge.  Adaptability comes through three interchangeable seating elements and four seat depths.

Elio Collection 2020

The Elio collection draws inspiration from the motion of light reflection and refraction, expressed through Soft shades of yarn are woven into one strand mimicking the hues of natural light. Each chair is unique. The handwoven rope seat creates an intimate cocoon effect.

Amanu Collection 2022

The Amanu collection began with a question: how can a piece move naturally between indoor and outdoor settings? Amanu shows that the difference is in the details. Its tapered legs and smooth, half rounded armrests create a light profile, while its proportions distinguish the collection from outdoor furniture, a category often defined by ham-handed pieces and larger forms.

Dunes Collection 2024

The Dune collection draws inspiration from natural forms, with organic lines that suggest surfaces shaped by the wind. Three sculptural bases in varying sizes support a pebble-shaped top, crafted entirely from solid teak.
